Many people have a view of a pastor. Most of these views are not reality. The views are usually stereotypes and sometimes seem like satirical exaggerations of pastors both positive and negative. Most pastors, like myself, are real people with families and history. Some try to be what thier congregations and community expect from them wanting to please. Others live thier lives the same as they would in any other occupation -- with integrity.

My position with Hilltop Chapel is that of a bivocational pastor.
This is often referred to as being a tent-maker, in reference to Paul having made tents with Priscilla and Aquila while starting churches.
As such, I have a job outside the church to provide for my family.
I have the same kinds of experiences in life.
Like most people, I struggle balancing work and family.
